For many creators, storytelling begins and ends with the written word. For this New York-based author and artist, however, the creative journey extends far beyond the pages of a book. By combining literature, music, visual art, and digital media, he has developed a unique approach to storytelling that immerses audiences in the worlds he creates. Best known for his book series Rude Boy USA and its spin-off Scions of Legacy, he has taken the uncommon step of producing original soundtracks to accompany his stories, giving readers an entirely new way to experience his work. We sat down with him to discuss his influences, creative process, and vision for the future.
